I’m 17 and based in Dubai. It took me around 4 years of convincing my parents, but I’m finally at the point where I can apply for a motorcycle license.

This is something I’ve genuinely wanted for years. But now that I’m actually about to start, I’ve been reading a lot of mixed opinions from riders here — some say it’s amazing, others say it’s too risky, not worth it, or it’s too hot and starting so young might be a regret.

Now I feel stuck and confused.

I’m not trying to be reckless — I just don’t know if I should go ahead or rethink it completely, especially in a place like Dubai where traffic can be intense.

Would appreciate honest advice from riders here, especially anyone who started young or rides in Dubai.
