this is my 2008 corolla altis petrol 1.8
E140
this car has done 240000kms
its had its injectors changed
it ran with bad spark plugs for a long time and then changed that
air filter is good
cleaned the air flow sensor
cleaned the throttle body
poured in injector cleaning liquid
cars battery is fine we tested that as well
but there is a starting delay
sometimes there are minute misfires and sometimes big ones the car doesnt pick up at all
it is more common when we push the car a lot in low fuel.
i suspect that it might be a fuel pump or fuel filter issue but im not sure
im only getting around 6-7km/l in the city and 8-9km/l in the highway
in idle the car is showing average 2.5km/l
the car refuses to past 120km/h but once it did 140km/h but after that the rpm doesnt move and the speed doesnt increase either its like its hit a wall
What could be the issue here?
we scanned the car and no codes came up related to this but just the right wheel speed sensor is short so the abs light is there.
we serviced the car in toyota 2 weeks ago. they didnt say anything after the inspection and for further details we had to book for a detailed inspection.
alternator is also good no issues
