I might of pushed my Elantra to the limit this time, as I ran out of gas and been having issues with it ever since, especially cuz it won’t start. Code reading P0017 but check timing chain and it’s on there tight, replace crank shaft sensor, got new spark plugs, valves solenoids, fuel injectors, and replace the fuel pump. I clean the throttle body as well but it just cranks like it has no gas. Also I air pressure the fuel line to get rid of any debris. Yet I haven’t tried to put starter fluid in yet it just seems like no gas is coming through to the engine cuz I disconnected the fuel rail to check if the gas would come through and it doesn’t. I hear the fuel pump hum ( turn on car not crank it) however I don’t know if am missing something crucial when it comes down to replacing the fuel pump assembly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
