Hi everyone,

I’m posting here because I don’t really know what else to do at this point.

My father worked as an electrical engineer at a big company here for over 21 years. He was incredibly dedicated to his job and always provided for our family without fail. Unfortunately, he lost his job in November due to a technical issue at work, and ever since then, things have been really difficult. He’s been applying to jobs every single day and reaching out wherever he can, but he’s barely gets a response. And due to this ongoing situation its been really hard for him to pay our tuition fees and rent, and honestly it’s starting to feel like things aren’t going to get better anytime soon. I was just wondering if anyone here has advice on what he could do differently, or if there are better ways for someone with his level of experience to find opportunities. And if anyone knows of any openings or can point us in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.
