Hello, three friends and I recently took on running our local community garden. There are no established rules at the moment so we are pretty much starting from scratch.

Anyway, what are some good rules I should have for it? Also, good tips for running it? Id like to have an area for people to could have their own plots but I also want a lot of the garden to be for the community. Right now, I'm thinking about giving those who volunteered over the season first dibs on harvest.

I also want to have it be a good/beautiful place for people to come and enjoy a coffee, picnic, take professional pictures, etc since there isn't really anywhere like that where I live (small rural desert town).
