My 2016 Yaris is sitting just under 90k miles, and I've had the oil changed every ~6k miles for the last 5 years of owning it. I've only used 0W-20 as per the manual, but it also states 5w-30 is applicable. Is there an average mileage to switch to the more viscous oil, or tell tale mechanical signs to switch? I'm planning on running this car into the ground (hopefully forever) as I've paid off my car loan.
