So for some context i was diagnosed with Autism level 2 a few years ago now.
I have told my employer and they are fully aware of the circumstances and the issues I can face day to day..
In general I get no compensation or lenience for my disability and 9/10 times if I do raise a concern with my Boss he just blames it on my disability and pass it off as a meltdown or disregards it.
I got ahold of this email today that was sent to an external company regarding an incentive for becoming an apprentice again. Now under the DAAWS program employers with employees that have disabilities deemed to fall under the criteria can claim an assistance payment for those workers.
The body of the email made me feel like they dont fully understand the complications i face or what little control I have at times with these situations.
Am I missreading what was said?
Are they blaming me or suggesting im too difficult to work with so they manage?
I wouldnt even know where to begin to rectify or approach this with my employer as they have been very very dismissive in the past.
