Making a cosplay of my favorite mutant. So happy with how this is turning out. I just need a couple more coats of paint on the armor, a big foam sword, and to trim and hem the yellow sleeves down so the final look will have black sleeves showing. (Also maybe some prosthetic devil horns) Have absolutely no experience sewing, let alone stretchy fabric, but that's never stopped me before.
Some of you may have seen clips of the Adventure Time drag show in NYC last month. It was hosted by Suddenly Audrey(who is dressed as Finn/Fionna in the last pic), who throws nerdy drag balls every other month or so(called Aud Balls). Some clips from this show got 5mil views which I beleive is the most engagement an Aud Ball has ever had. It was so popular, she threw the same party again last night. 10 performers, each with their own number. It was a blast. I made this BMO costume, complete with customizable face parts.
First pic is with drag king Vape Kid Jr. who had an absolutely wild Pep Butt puppet that blew me away. Third pic is with Lollygag, who was BMO and performed a Daft Punk number, one of my absolute favorite musicians (who I never hear very often in gay clubs). Those two performances especially meant a lot to me.
Last pic is a group shot of the cast of the first show. The second night had two more queens, but I didn't get a shot of the group.
