Over the last year, I’ve been in contact with the Spanish consulate regarding this matter, and they’ve been very helpful. However, it’s now been a month since I sent all the required documentation to register as a resident in the Consular Register in London (Consulado General de España en Londres, Departamento de Nacionales).
This registration is necessary for me to request a passport appointment later on, but I haven’t heard anything at all since submitting my documents. I emailed them, and they said they forwarded my case to cog.londres.nac, but I still haven’t received any response.
I’m starting to get quite worried, as I’d like to apply for jobs in Spain without needing visa sponsorship, as well as open a bank account and move there.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows what I can do at this point?
