Cronos L6042, 36mm, Explorer Homage

Purchased this from the Cronos watch website (US Warehouse) and it got here 6 days from ordering. Very impressed with the fit, finish, and lume on this one. The Miyota 90S5 movement has been very accurate with around +6 seconds per day. The lume is evenly applied and lasts all night. Overall, very happy!

41 Weeks, 6 Days, and a Story

BLUF: At just under 42 weeks from my order date, my boots shipped. Not built 100% correctly but still keeping them. Testament to another great experience with Nicks’ CS.

Long story short, my boots arrived after a very long wait and are missing the inner lineman patches that were on the order. After a quick call with CS and a few emails back and forth, I decided to not do a warranty exchange and opt for the more than fair partial refund reflective of the lineman patch up-charge and order total. I did this because this build is absolutely perfect even without the patches. I thought the fit and finish on my Wellies were great (and still do) but these are arguably even better. The sole stitching is incredibly tight, the sanding is extremely consistent, the clicking is bang on (I like how the inside upper of one of the boots shows some striations), all the rest of the details that I ordered were correct, and the boots actually came with Dr. Sole Raw Cord full soles somehow like I originally ordered! Lineman patches will just have to wait for the next inevitable build🤙🏼

Lastly, shoutout to Nick, Dakota, Krystal, and all the other CS people that have always been professional and helpful. Also, shoutout to the laster who did this pair. Lasting a symmetrical moc toe onto the anatomical Thurman is a pain in the butt I’m sure but they did great. Moc toe Thurmans look so freaking wonky and I mean that in the best way possible. Cheers!🤙🏼
