Hi everyone! 🇬🇧

I’m a student currently preparing for my postgraduate applications. Living in London, it’s impossible not to be inspired by the magic of the West End and the incredible Fringe scene. However, through a close friend who is a part-time Stage Manager, I’ve also seen the immense pressure that comes with keeping these shows running.

I am conducting an independent project to understand theatre worker burnout, specifically across different roles—from the tech crew and stage management to actors and front-of-house staff.

If you are currently working or volunteering in a theatre, I would be so grateful for your 5-minute input:

  • Anonymity: 100% anonymous. No personal or company names are collected.
  • Target: Anyone involved in theatre (Professional, Fringe, or Community/Volunteer).
  • Guidance for Volunteers: If you are in community theatre, please answer questions (like working hours or experience) based only on your theatre involvement.

Thank you for helping me highlight these important issues and for everything you do for the arts in London! **Please feel free to share this with your cast, crew, or theatre group chats!**✨
