As the title says. Obviously I can understand if the situation is imminently dangerous or something like that, but if they get a call they know is simple/not dangerous, would the responders remove their shoes? Do people like repairmen and service techs do the same?

I’d like to hear directly from people who live in countries where not removing your shoes is considered much ruder than it is in the US.
