What model did I get?
Hey everyone. I’ve got a weird question.
Back before Aya Neo acknowledged how bad their customer support was, I tried to initiate a replacement for my Pocket Micro. They refused. But, since now that they’ve revamped their support, I figured I’d try again since they specifically mentioned in their detailed letter to the community that anyone who didn’t get satisfactory support should reach out again. To my shock, they agreed to send me a replacement. I should say, this device is out of warranty at this point. So, they’ve gone from the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, to one of the best. Credit where credit is due. 👍 Not only that, but they didn’t ask for the faulty one back. Anyone that has followed my specific saga (unintentional multiple button presses, when I only press a button once) should know that I managed to get my original unit working by installing GAMMA OS Next on it.
ANYWAY… I now have two of these things. 😅
My question to you guys is… what exactly do I have here? The one on the top is the unopened, brand new replacement and it appears to be a Classic?? the one on the bottom is my original box for my original Pocket Micro (non-classic). I was thinking about selling the unopened one but… I don’t feel good about selling it unless I know what it actually is. The front of the box looks identical to my non-classic box. The back of the box says it’s a Classic.
To complicate this even more… I just deleted my sticks from my old Pocket Micro. I wouldn’t have minded having one with stick and one without but… now I maybe have two without sticks?!?
Anyone with a Pocket Micro Classic… SPECIFICALLY the retro gray color way… does your outer box look this way too?
