I have to say I am a bit disappointed. After all the hype? The cheese was basically water, the chips were not as good and the salsa to me was just NOT IT. Maybe it’s just this one time, hard to tell. The tacos were not as bad but I feel like plantaqueria is better. I also waited a while for the food being the only one in there.

I feel like there are vegan spots in this city that nobody talks about. What’s a place you LOVE that more vegans should know about? Food trucks, restaurants, bakeries, anything.

These images are from there listings however I will go this week for the first time and let you all know about it. I’ve gotten nothing but great reviews about it! Anyone else been? I usually make my food from scratch and I am going on a journey to find all the vegan spots or options in San Antonio!

These images are from their map listings but has anyone ever been? Plant based Mexican spot downtown San Antonio off of broadway. Everything on that menu is absolutely paradise. 20/10

Sprouts is where I do my shopping due to their extensive plant based options and sales! My last grocery bill was $57 for the week. That is including 3 meals a day and snacking. I honestly have not shopped around anywhere else. Any recommendations?

A Moroccan Restaurant off of Evers Road near Wurzbach. They have vegan Dishes including a vegan Desert with multiple options! Not too bad. I’d give it a 7/10.

Wassup San Antonio.

I started this sub to be the go to spot for everything plant based in our city. Whether you are looking for the best tacos at the Pearl or just trying to find out which HEB has the best selection, I want this to be the hub for it.

Help me kick things off. Drop a comment with the one local vegan dish that everyone in SA needs to try at least once.

Make sure to grab your user flair and keep the posts local to the 210.

Stay plant powered.
