Hii! Basically just what the title asks; I am starting my freshman year next year as a physics undergrad and desperately need a new laptop. Ordinarily I would just go windows / linux, but I tend to do about 90% of my work on my ipad and I think I’d really enjoy the compatibility perks with sticking with apple (the lack of some game options also isn’t a huge dealbreaker for me).
I am aware that mac is not recommended for engineering students, but I was wondering if a similar thing applied to physics majors. I will be pursuing biophysics research, if that makes a difference.
