What's the hardest "puzzle" in SDV without using wiki/google/etc.?
I saw a post someone just made about the galaxy sword and it made me wonder. Is that one of the most hardest puzzles to solve without any help?
I mean, at first, I assume (I don't know for sure) the headstone reads like gibberish. Then after getting Dwarvish Translation Guide, there's a clue:
Stand between the pillars three
With gift as precious as the sky:
A rainbow forged from land, not sea
Then galaxies will heed your cry.”
I remember my first few runs, I did not even think to click on the headstone, let alone trying to solve the clue. I think I accidentally clicked on the headstone at the Egg Festival because there was an egg there.
What other "puzzles" work like this and which is the hardest...

Given the comments so far, I think it's quite clear the following are some of the hardest:
- Meowmare - A clue is given but referenced from another game Terraria.
- The Walnut memory/Simon Says game - no tricks or anything but a pain in the butt to solve/complete.
- Mermaid Musical notes - tough to get the right amount of notes
- Alleyway Buffet Book - Basically out of sight, out of mind, with >!the hidden passage way, breaking big rock boulder and large tree stump. !<
- Qi quest #3- Give the dragon their final meal...
*One that hasn't been mentioned yet is what to give the henchman to get pass him to enter the witch's hut. >!The clue is in one of the lost books. I've seen and read a few of them but I haven't... and won't see/read them all.!<
There's so much to this game we love, I am sure I've missed at least a few. Thanks to everyone that commented so far and looking forward to any new ones tomorrow. ❤️
