Was walking on the beach in Koh Phi Phi where the waves come and go, and the entire wet sand was covered in holes.

From each hole came a long flat ribbon-like creature, around 20-30cm long. The moment you touch one it shoots back into the sand in less than a second. There were thousands of them everywhere.

Anyone know what these are?

For years my system for saving things online was sending links or screenshots to myself on WhatsApp and thinking I’ll check them later. I never did.

After a while I had hundreds of links with zero context and no idea why I saved them.

I tried bookmarks, notes, even screenshots — it was too buried to actually use.

So I built a small tool for myself:

you share anything directly from your phone (YouTube, Instagram, articles, whatever), it saves the title and preview automatically, and you organize it into boards.

Been using it for a few months and it replaced the whole “send to myself” thing :)

Curious if this is just me or if this is a common problem?
