Guy who sanded and polished handrails messed up these spindles with some poli i think. I think these are matte powder coated i dont think i should paint over these

Had my floors recently sanded and refinished. Used to be the 2000s red oak with orange-ish hue. These look like damage from too much sanding. Am I nitpicking or is this unacceptable? Dont think they can fix these, should i ask for some discount? i haven’t paid yet.
