Today I’m writing by hand. Because I caught myself outrunning my own thoughts.
I work in communications. My field got overrun, fast. A flood of tools came in and took the whole job. You tell them “finish it” — and they finish it.
Here’s what nobody warned me about: the work didn’t get easier. It got easier to do more work.
Ten years ago, surviving a downturn was personal. You changed your plan, your city, your approach — and you got through it. Today, survival is something else entirely. It’s about who you are, not what you do.
Every morning I read 15 product launches like they’re war dispatches. Casualties. Surprise attacks. War profiteers everywhere — and I’m forced to be one of them.
We need a new globalization. One where we actually employ each other again. Where we go back to asking what people need in their lives, and we build for that.
Because the questions are multiplying every day. Not shrinking.
And if you’re not busy doing good — may God help you.
