Did I do a decent job at replicating the old Eddsworld art style?

Did I do a decent job at replicating the old Eddsworld art style?

I did this with one of my OCS and tried my best at replicating the style, is there anything I need to do differently? I feel like something is off with it.

(Don't mind Edd, I used him as a reference)

Here's a real quick example of what I mean

A few months ago, my friend (now EX friend) got really invested in MLP G4 after I told her about it. She insists that she literally knows everything about MLP (despite only watching 2 seasons of G4 and 30 minutes of the first movie from reels) and then out of nowhere stopped even mentioning it or talking about it.

The same thing happened when I talked about Eddsworld around her afterwards .She got invested, told me she knew everything about every character, and then left the fandom a week later.

This was honestly so clockwork for me that I've trained myself to not talk about stuff I liked around them, and it pissed me off that I couldn't enjoy what I wanted to enjoy around her because she would basically be another me (but less original).

My personal example is supposed to show some sort of bandwagon effect, but on a smaller scale (I suddenly talk about said media a lot, the person suddenly becomes interested and knows everything, and after my hyperfixation leaves or dies down).

Moral of the story? It's okay to like the same stuff as others, but don't blatantly copy everything others like because you think it's "popular" or "funny" to do so. It's not funny, it's just annoying as all hell.

My current example of this is L from Death Note(since I have no other). It's been stated that he's supposed to be an "ugly" character, but I think quite the opposite. He's actually relatively normal looking (and possibly attractive to certain people, but not including myself).

I personally do see some flaws in his design (like his uncanny appearance or weird tendencies) but I believe that's not seen by many other Death Note fans.

Are there any other characters with this trope I haven't thought of yet? Most likely. This trope is overused as hell and I think it's annoying that people even design "ugly" characters and make them slightly or entirely beautiful or attractive.

Real quick rules

- the character must be somewhat simple or easy to draw, I don't feel like drawing one character for 4 hours. The color pallete also cannot have too many ccolors (like 10+ colors for 1 character)

- appropria fandoms only! I won't take fandoms that are just downright weird or controversial

- I WILL NOT BE DRAWING THE SAMEE CHARACTER BUT A DIFFERENT OUTFIT. Please be original with what you submit!

- IM BAD AT DRAWING ANIMAL CHARACTERS!! If the character is straight up just a realistic animal, I won't draw it (exception would be anthro characters or cartoony animals)

(I wasn't sure what tag to put this as, so sorry if it's the wrong tag. Plus I'm not good at grammer and sentence making in general. Sorry for that as well😓)
