How does the enclosure look? I am a first time gecko owner and getting my baby (just under 7 months old) hopefully soon! Any and all recommendations/tips are super helpful and welcome! I’ve done countless hours of research but it never hurts to ask the community lol
Little info on the setup:
It’s a 12”x12”x16”
Basking spot is only at 80 degrees
Top of the tank is around 77
Bottom tank is pretty even 75
Cool zone is around 71
Humidity at 65% after light misting, 83% at least after heavy misting, and dry periods of 45% (I’m thinking of getting an automatic mister so I don’t have to worry about it drying out too fast bc the paper towels hold no humidity)
No humid hide in there yet since I’m going to use the deli cup he arrives in for the humid hide, and I’m buying a smaller regular hide since the one I got was huge and takes up all the floor space as you can see
Also gecko pic for the tax (his name is Elevator Operator btw)
Edit: this is a temporary setup!! I don’t want to risk impaction, he will be transferred to a MUCH larger bioactive vivarium once he’s big and healthy enough :)
