Should I give up on NG+?
I recently finished the game for the first time and despite a couple difficulty spikes to work through (tower knight, Flamelurker, man eater) I really enjoyed the game. I was planning on getting the platinum so I managed to get both the multiplayer trophies naturally (waited hours to get summoned by Flamelurker), all the rings (except the one from the old king because I let Ostrava die somehow before I looked up the platinum guide).
Anyway, I started new game plus feeling good and excited to get the platinum. Cruised through 1-1, thought this wasn’t going to be too hard. Made it to tower knight first try and then immediately got 1 hit. Thought okay I’ll try 2-1, the spider does a more reasonable amount of damage but my damage is very low (crescent falchion +5). Try 4-1 and adjudicator 1 shots me.
I’m level 68 but it seems like enemies don’t give more souls in ng+ so I’m very not excited about the idea of farming to level up. Am I missing anything?
