We are a family of three who are taking our first cruise in May. We love the beach and are looking for a great beach on St Thomas Island that has beach chairs and umbrellas that we can rent. I don't mind if it's crowded, or loud, or quiet.

Also How has your experience been if you took a private taxi? My wife is nervous about the taxi and wants to book through the cruise excursions, but I'd rather save $$. My goal is to be on a beach quickly and able to do our own thing. We have to be back at the cruise ship at 5:00..What has your experience been booking separate from the RC cruise line?
