Wet soil, earthy plant soil relaxes me. It reminds me of being in my back porch early morning rainy day, wind blowing and smelling the cut grass & plants.
Amouage is one of my favorite houses so I decided to sample a few popular ones & some that had notes I thought I would like. I had tried some at the mall that I really liked but smelling them on strips & wearing them for a couple days makes a huge difference. Some of my favorites were -Meander- soft, powdery, fresh green scent.
-Lineage- floral soft clean skin scent.
- Guidance 46- was beautiful but too feminine for me.
- Enclave - sweet spearmint with a little spice. I liked it.
- Purpose- amazing scent till I smelled purpose 50.
I ended up getting bigger sizes of Lustre after smelling it in store & bigger ones (8ml & 10ml) of Purpose 50 & decision after going through the 2ml samples.
Lustre is great but I couldn’t stop thinking about the other 2. Halfway through the 8ml of Purpose 50 I knew I needed the full size bottle. It is that amazing to me. Once I get through the 10ml of decision I will consider a FB of that also.
Sure, it cost more getting the 2ml, then the 8ml & finally the FB, but I wanted to make sure I was in love with the perfume before I spent that much on it.
