Silliest Gripe You have With a Game

Maybe it's a small detail, and it probably doesn't affect the plot, but what's something that drove you bonkers? I'll go first.

I'm playing through Sweet Fuse: At Your Side, and I'm having the biggest/dumbest issues over the Round Table Colosseum Knights IV attraction.

  • From what I read of the Arthurian legend, Arthur and his knights had nothing to do with the Colosseum.
  • As far as I can tell, Rome did have knights. They were called Equites, and they were largely nobles and rich guys (because owning and maintaining a horse was expensive). They did not fight in the Colosseum either; that was the Gladiators (who were mostly slaves), other slaves, prisoners of war, and condemned criminals.
  • Meoshi >!got his nickname, "Ares," from being good at this game. Ares is the GREEK god of war. The Colosseum is in Rome (Italy). The ROMAN god of war is Mars.!< I'm playing though his route now, so I don't know if they're going to address that or not; I don't think they will.
  • I wish the puzzle in the last room had more to do with the Arthurian legend. The final puzzle in the Alice Kart Grand Prix attraction required the players to know that >!the March Hare was hosting the mad tea party and to "command" him, they needed to pick the queen of hearts card since she rules Wonderland.!< That is some book-specific stuff, and I was impressed by that level of detail. >!Unfortunately, you don't need to know anything about King Arthur to solve the last puzzle, and in one route, they just brute force it. For some reason, they reference a deck of cards again (with the king being 13).!< That made sense for the Alice attraction, but it didn't here. I was so disappointed; I know the lore! I was ready!
