So I'm posting here haha. TW if you had/have struggled to conceive my story is probably annoying, I'm sorry.

I got a positive test two days ago. This is my second baby. I had a very narrow window to conceive (basically due date had to be after these big exams my husband is doing, but before we move country). I got my long acting contraception out and had literally 2 cycles to try, and if it didn't happen I was going have to wait like 2-3 years before it would be a good time again. But like I knew that was naiive, bodies don't work like that, five months is the average even for people with no issues etc...but it worked! I am just praying praying this baby sticks.

I feel absolutely awful though. It's going to be a loooong nine months. The fatigue is otherworldly and I'm already so nauseous. I wasn't this bad so early with my son which makes me think maybe it's a girl? Pregnancy with a 12 month old is not for the weak and I know in some ways we're about to hit a difficult period with my son in terms of tantrums, behaviour etc.

Anyways congrats to all you other expectant mothers out there!
