Got two pairs this week, much to my surprise! (USPS went from package received to at my mailbox in 48 hours!)
Sage Chromepack ... the leather, the myth, the legend. So pleased to snap it up in this last odds and ends or overstock sale. It's such a nice color, and I do appreciate the character in the vamp. It feels so heavy duty. Can't wait to see it after some long hours. And it feels like there's plenty of room for a delta arch, so I'm going to be cutting down a half arch shortly to confirm.
Shackleton Brown is such a nice color. I love the reds and it really just feels nice on the foot right away. I think the moc toe might actually reduce the headroom in the vamp area? My feet are pretty low volume, so not an issue. So far I think green laces are winning over burgundy, but we'll see. Minor gripe is some tearing near the tip of the moc stitching, but pretty sure it won't be too noticeable for too long. And what looks like a slight marking maybe from a silver sharpie that overshot the mark by just a little .. any recommendations on that? (Pic 9) Otherwise think I'll probably try to keep them clean and dressy for a little bit!
