Lit midlevel thinking of sending feelers out to lit boutiques in the bay area. Any thoughts on BraunHagey & Borden? Not much info about them online, and opinions seem to be mixed.

Just looking at their website, their attorneys seem fairly credentialed (mostly t14/fed clerks)?? I just know they pay 10% above milbank/cravath for base, not sure how bonus works. They seem to do some public interest-y impact litigation in addition to their commercial cases, which is pretty unique (like securing injunction on behalf of journalists against DHS during ICE protests, representing the SF public defender in contempt appeal).

How do they compare to other SF lit boutiques like KVP, Farella, Coblentz, Shartsis, etc? How selective are they? Culture? Exit opps from lit boutiques in this range? Do you actually get more hands-on experience at these kinds of boutiques?

Would appreciate any thoughts. Feel free to DM if preferred.
