Need to do a low butt adjustment on a pair of jeans, is there anyway to do it without completely taking them apart?
Basically what the title says, I got a pair of jeans for free that almost fit and I've been working on them on-and-off for the past few weeks. The original issue is the waist was far too high (I'm short so that happens a lot) and the fit of the butt was both too high in the waist and too short in the crotch in the back. I took off ~4 inches of the waist and ~an inch of the jeans which helped a lot but now I still have the 'hungry butt' to deal with. I'm wondering if there's any way to alter them without fully dismantling the jeans? All the explanations I can find are assuming you're making the pants from scratch, but I'm not, and I'd like to avoid taking them apart entirely if possible since I've already made alterations to the waist and thigh. Should I just bite the bullet and take them apart or is there a way to do this? TIA!
Edit: just realized it could also be a full seat adjustment I need to do 😅 although I'm not sure, question still stands either way though haha
