First time Ariat customer. Just bought these Ariats to replace my Redbacks as my station boot and noticed one has a really wrinkled and worn out looking shaft and the other is smooth. Is this normal for new boots? I don’t really care too much because the shaft is going to be under my BDU’s 😉 and they are work boots so it’s not like they’ll be getting the princess treatment, but if it’s some sort of defect that could lead to quicker wear on one boot over the other I rather just deal with it now.
