People treat it like, ‘Hey, I’m a gamer, not an engineer.’ But at that point, why even play the game? You’re not actually a president or military leader either. The major DLCs let players go beyond those limitations and shape things according to their own imagination and playstyle. Yeah, the expansions are expensive, but they give players the freedom to break away from the old restrictions. Without those DLCs or new paths, we’d still just be building infrastructure to avoid attrition all game.
