Hey peeps,

I've been passionate about Astrology for years, and I was always frustrated by how most astrology apps focus on Western astrology and barely scratch the surface of Vedic traditions.

So we built Vedikks - a platform designed specifically around Vedic astrology principles.

Here's what makes it different:

✦ Full birth chart (Rasi + Navamsa) with Dasha periods and Antardasha breakdowns

✦ Planetary positions based on the sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa)

✦ Nakshatra analysis - your moon nakshatra, pada, and what it actually means for you

✦ Interpretations grounded in classical texts, not pop-astrology summaries

✦ Clean, distraction-free interface - no upsells every 5 seconds

We're still early and actively listening to feedback from the community. If you've ever felt like other apps don't do justice to Vedic Astrology, we'd genuinely love to hear from you - what features would make this your go-to tool?

Happy to answer any questions about how we've approached the calculations or the philosophy behind the product. AMA!

I've done the Rajasthan circuit. I've done Kerala backwaters. I've done Varanasi at sunrise.

Beautiful? Absolutely. But somewhere along the way, something started feeling hollow.

I'd come back from trips with photos but not really with stories. I'd visited places but hadn't experienced them. There's a difference, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it until a friend described it perfectly — "you're just moving your body to a new location."

That hit hard.

So I started obsessively looking for a different kind of trip. Not the landmark tour. Not the "top 10 things to do in X" listicle. I wanted to be inside a moment, not in front of it.

What I found was that these experiences exist all over India — a dying craft kept alive by one family in a small village, a hyper-local festival that doesn't make it to any travel blog, a food tradition that has no Instagram presence because the people practicing it aren't trying to be discovered.

They're just hard to find.

Has anyone else felt this way? And more importantly — what's a travel experience in India that actually made you feel something, not just see something? The kind you'd struggle to explain to someone who wasn't there.

Genuinely curious. Would love to hear what people have found.
