Hey fellow seniors 😭 IB student here and I’m genuinely stressing so hard I might actually go bald.
Been doing my research and I’m looking at unis in KP or UOBD for humanities/business, or compsci - because parents + apparently it “earns more” 💀. Does anyone know what career support in uni is actually giving? Like is it helpful or just a pat on the back? I keep hearing internships are super competitive so I’m lowkey scared.
Also, has anyone gone on exchange at the host uni? Was it worth it? Any honest reviews?
With the current situation restarting and classes going back online again, I’m also thinking about taking a gap year or looking at other destinations. I still feel like getting a degree matters because a lot of jobs base your starting pay on qualifications, plus the parent pressure is very real 💀
There’s just so much uncertainty rn and I’m scared I’ll pick wrong and end up having a “why did I choose this” moment every day. It’s like this quiet background anxiety playing on loop while I’m trying to act normal.
Would really appreciate any advice or experiences from peeps ;__;
