Catechism stage and online discernments
Hello!!! I’ve been attending my local Parrish for about 3 months now, used to be evangelical / Baptist, and I can’t express how much happier and the curiosities that follows along this journey.
My spiritual father is in his 80s, and technology really isn’t his greatest, which means my questions in email often don’t get a respond and church has been so busy lately I feel bad to always bother them, so I try to learn things with books and with online videos.
So far I’ve learned about the schisms, and I try to stay away from debates because it’s over whelming and I don’t understand a lot of stuff that’s there just yet.
Any online or YouTube’s channels to stay away from???? So far I really enjoy Father Josiah, Father Heers, and some of the Jay Dyre non debate videos. It’s been very helpful. Unfortunately I am an immigrant, and Jay Dyre won’t like me much lol but I’m a good kind I promise.
I’m unsure for how long I will be fully there I guess to be Christmated, and if that day ever happens I will be in tears of joy.
