Assuming I had infinite money (I don't, but willing to go private to just get over this..)

After diagnosis with Psychiatry UK, what is recommended? I read here that the care after diagnosis is very bad, if that's the case what can you do? I have tried reading through previous posts but it seems everyone is suffering.

Can you take the diagnosis and go to your NHS GP to get medication?

I can't bear the idea of 1 year with no actual treatment to help!!
