The red winged black bird on the cattail
As I fish i watch a red winged black bird in
the reflection of the water and my mind
imagines the world that your wings drift
through my eyes wander from my bobber
as I watch you slow you wings and change
your pitch to land on the cattail in front of
you not noticing my bobber dip but the red
of your wing and for but a moment a oh so
fleeting moment I may leave my world
behind for yours beraucorsy for clear sky's
and open fields worries for open winds
As well as longing for action
