I just got smacked with my second DC/DC converter failure today after having my first one replaced back in March of this year. Warranty ends August 2026 and trying to wrap my head around this problem.
From what I've read, it seems like the replacement part is better but doesn't fully resolve the problem? So even after this 2nd fix, this may happen again? Has this issue been formally issued as a recall and will LR cover the replacement of this part after original warranty has ended and/or this happens multiple occurrences?
I'm now not certain on how to move fwd as I love the car but can't risk being stranded. Of note, we are now stuck in PA at my MILs home and we live in NNJ. LR road assistance is paying for the tow and our uber ride for my family of 3.
