Haven’t posted in a while but still out here growing!
I always liked to show what I’m growing and how my journey has been coming along. Felt like I needed to start doing that again as life’s been kinda boring me hard and therapists said I should go back to enjoying the thing I used to enjoy before.
So as you’ll see I recently tried my hand at DWC and this is only my second go at it and I’m kinda liking it more than growing in coco/soil. My first grow I stunted the piss out of them from neglect and having a beautiful and healthy baby boy and still got a surprising Harvest of some Humboldt blueberry muffins.
Rn I’m growing some Barney’s farms genetics. One of the left is Blue Cheese one I used to love and haven’t had seen my teen years and the others was a freebie that looked super cool Zillionaire. Seeds were started in small rockwool cube on March 15th in the first pic.
Other pics were taken today as I did my first heavy defoliation, lollipoping, and some low stress training using these clips someone mentioned in here years ago and I love. Been using the same clips for 2 years off amazon. Finally broke a lot of them so might have to reorder finally but we’re fairly cheap, back then at least. Using just simple general hydroponic flora series just following the bottle phong to 5.8-6.1 depending how much I oops the ph up. These two are in a 2x4 under the same trusty ole SF4000 I bought off a redditor here who gave me a sick deal on it as well as some six shooter seeds from FastBuds. (Don’t recommend buying off random people you don’t know 😅 doesn’t always work out this way). Bought the spider farmer DWC kit off Amazon. Don’t use the drip ring that comes with it. Felt like it made water harder to keep sterile due to the stones sometimes getting algae or funky stuff on them. Don’t really follow my humidity or temp as my tent is usually open and I have central air with fans circulating air all around the tent. House is set to 71°F so I’m sure water temps are high 60’s. Just refill when buckets are about half way and give a quick cleaning to buckets to keep things sterile as can be. Honestly been an easy run so far. But more importantly it’s kinda like my zen garden and just brings me such a proud and accomplishing feeling during some heavy times. Always remember to make time for what you love doing 🫶🏽
