Lately it feels like people are using AI agents for things that don’t even need them. Like doing a simple task in an “agent” just because it sounds cool.
I get the potential but right now a lot of it feels unnecessary or overengineered.

Are AI agents actually useful today or mostly hype?

Where do they make sense?

What’s a real use case you’ve seen that isn’t just “because we can”?
