A new banter-only show would be great
I think I speak for many of us in saying that we know enough about Alex. The show did exactly what it set out to do by setting up an entire catalog outlining Alex‘s ideological philosophical and political inconsistency throughout his entire career. The guys followed him through current events and past events outlining numerous instances where he should be turning on himself in the present day, but it’s made clear that it was entirely based around his proximity to power and who would pay his bills. The guys did great work in helping Mark and Bill with the Sandy Hook families, and did incredible work the entire duration of the show, but the thing that I enjoyed most about it was their genuine friendship and care for one another, hearing their bright spots, and the banter about everyday life they shared at the beginning of every show. My biggest worries is that the show tarnished their friendship and I think that we’d all agree that that’s not what we want in the end. I think it would be great If every once in a while they popped in and just gave a little bit of banter or started an entirely new show where they just talked. They’re genuinely lovely dudes and I think the majority of us would probably be super stoked just to hear them be friends on a regular basis. It would continue listening for that leaving aside everything about politics and Alex in general. Anyway, what’s your bright spot?
