30M working in an Indian service company with decent pay. I am married and have a 1 year old kid.

I got an opportunity for client site travel in EU which kind of is like a big one with a good pay.

But the catch is family is not allowed, i need to go alone. Currently this is for 5-6 months.

I am haunted with the thought of living alone away from wife and a small kid...

Will it be stupid to leave out this opportunity taking the decision from an emotional perspective? Plz be kind in the comments.
