Concrete vs gravel grids: which is better for a DIY driveway?

I am trying to decide which is better for a DIY driveway between concrete and gravel grids, and I would really appreciate some advice.

I feel like concrete is ideal because it gives a smooth, strong surface and can last many years with minimal maintenance if done properly. It also looks more finished and is easily available locally, which makes planning and sourcing materials simpler.

At the same time, I think gravel grids might be a good idea because they are more budget friendly, especially since there are some affordable gravel grid options on aftermarket sites like amazon, ebay, and alibeba, as well as similar marketplace platforms. They also allow better drainage, especially when there is heavy rain. Gravel setups are easier to install as a DIY project, though they may need more maintenance over time.

Which do you think is more ideal between the two for a DIY driveway?

best app-based phone system for small business

I run a small import consultancy and I am starting to rethink my phone system setup. When I launched about a year ago, I went with Google Voice because it was simple and cheap, but lately spam and bot calls have been getting out of hand and it is affecting how I communicate with clients.

For context, I help people import items in bulk from platforms like Alibaba, Made-in-China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Germany, Italy, etc. I handle supplier vetting, communication, and sometimes sample orders before clients commit. Because of this, being reachable and able to reliably make and receive calls is essential.

I have been considering switching to a paid service, but I am unsure if the extra cost is worth it or if there are downsides I am overlooking.

Does anyone have recommendations for a phone system that works entirely through an app and is reliable for client communication?

Affordable colored shears for stylists

Hey everyone! I’m looking for affordable colored shears, preferably in pink or peach. I’ve been comparing prices from premium brands down to budget friendly options on sites like Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, etc., and so far the colored ones seem pretty expensive, especially if they’re decent quality.

Does anyone have recommendations on where to find good colored shears that won’t break the bank? I’m not necessarily trying to go pro level yet, just something that looks nice and performs well for daily cutting. Maybe brands or stores I haven’t thought of?

Would love to hear what you all use or where you’ve found the best deals, especially if you’ve bought colored shears that actually hold up.

Thanks in advance 🙂
