Hi guys, has any of you driven at night before with the inside lights on but driver's curtains drawn?

I have a family of three kids and am debating between a trailer vs an RV. I'm thinking RV can allow me to drive more at night without the kids getting bored if I can keep the light on in the back while I drive.
