Personal item size help

I thrifted a brand new with tags Lo and Sons OG (?) bag for under 10 dollars and I’m thrilled - I always wanted one but settled for my ancient Baggalini tote that I’ve been using for years.

Well I just pulled the Lo and Sons out to pack and realized that while the product description calls it the perfect personal item, it is in fact larger than what United allows. 😩

Does anyone use this bag as a personal item? Should I be overly concerned?

United says: 17” x 10” by 9” deep

Lo and Sons says: 16.5” x 14.2” by 6.75” deep

I’m thinking I’m ok because I won’t plan to stuff it so I can squish the height down to fit the 10” height requirement.

Does that sound ok? Thank you!

New to Hobonichi

I got the April start Weeks. Absolutely love it. I’ve tried many planners over the years but this layout speaks to me! I’m a convert!

Today I hit up a garage sale and picked this up for $2. It’s an A6 cover. Of course now that I have a cover I’m going to need to buy another planner to put in it. Right????

Here’s my question - what fits this best? And what can I do with it if I don’t have an actual planning need (I use the weeks for that).

Thank you in advance!
