Hi! So I have had a laparoscopy and they said I have adeno after years of extreme periods and pain. They inserted the mirena to help manage it and it has been working for the last year and a half. Over the last few months I’ve noticed some symptoms kind of coming back like the back ache and stabbing cervix pains and recently my period has started gradually coming back again. Is this normal or does it mean either my symptoms are getting worse or my coil is less effective?

It stared off as cyclical pain, then spotting and this is the first where it’s starting to be proper pain and bleeding.

I am 25 and was in a relatively stressful and toxic relationship which all kinda blew up and got extreme around November time and that’s when everything started happening. Is it possible the stress made it worse? Or did losing the stress of him bring my period back? Or is it just normal for the coil.

Just looking for advice on the matter!

Thanks in advance!
