‏I think I lost track of the actual main storyline in Book 15 of Defiance of the Fall.

I still enjoy the individual arcs and side stories (Twilight Ocean, Perennial Vastness, orom worlds, etc.), and I generally understand what’s happening within those arcs. But I realized I no longer understand the bigger picture.

What exactly is the objective of the Left Imperial Wing arc?

what is Zac personally trying to accomplish at this point in the story beyond “getting stronger”?

I think I lost the thread connecting the isolated cultivation arcs to the actual overarching plot, so I’d really appreciate a simplified explanation of the main storyline around Book 15.

I will say I loat the track a long time ago but it started to really bother me.
