I have 2 examples but filed in different jurisdiction:

- 1st one is a simple harassment report where the police takes down information and makes contact with the other person to let them know to stop bothering the person, then leads are exhausted.

- 2nd one has allegations that were insinuating (proven only with statements) against the subject by the victim, but this police incident was deemed stalking via proxy and victim ultimately was concluded as a harasser and was warned of harassment.

Because in both cases there were no court or arrests made, **what happens to these reports? Do they remain in local agencies or can they be tracked via NCIC database if a police searches the victim / harasser’s name?**

The case was little over a year ago and another cop confirmed that there is a missing report in NCIC under a name. Is there a way to request removal if the person is ok?
