Hi, hoping to get some practical advice from people who've been through something similar. My older brother was recently denied long-term disability benefits after being off work because of a serious head injury and our family trying to understand what steps to take now.

Currently been looking for long-term disability lawyer, but it’s difficult to tell who genuinely has experience with LTD insurance denials and who is mainly just good at marketing. A lot of law firm websites sound very similar, so real-world recommendations or guidance would be mega-helpful.

Does anyone have advice on how to find a disability lawyer for a denied long-term disability claim in Ontario province? We’re looking in Toronto, GTA, or anywhere in Canada as long as lawyer handles Ontario LTD cases.

I’d also appreciate suggestions on what questions to ask during an initial consultation to know how to find true professional
