Hey everyone,
so I wanted to play some N64 games on my switch. Specifically The Legend of Zelda: The Sealed Palace. I played a bit on my PC however I felt like I would enjoy this game more handheld. So i fired up my switch and downloaded the 1.22.2 mupen64plus - next (2.8-OpenGL git) core for Retroarch.
The game runs okay-ish. No audio glitches, and the fps drops are there but not that common, but I like to tinker with stuff so I was playing around the settings. Honestly there are too many settings for me to try them all one by one and a lot of them just straight up lead to worse experience.

So this led me to writing this post (+most of the questions regarding this topic on this subreddit are several years old already).
I would like to ask: what are some of your best tips for running N64 games smoothly on Switch?

TL;DR: Trying to run N64 games on switch via RetroArch (mupen64plus-next). Looking for your go-to settings, core options, or overclocking tips for the best N64 performance on handheld.
