Cachy USB Install, TLDR: Works Great!
Just wanted to share my positive experience of Cachy running from a USB drive.
For those that don't know, you can install a full OS, such as Cachy, to a USB drive. The installation is the same, just choose a USB drive instead of a hard drive. Then you'll have a pocketable Cachy which has all your programs, settings, shortcuts, etc.
I've used it on multiple computers and it worked perfectly. It's also fast. I don't think I can tell a difference between Cachy on USB and Cachy installed on internal NVME, but I use old computers and I'm not a gamer. YMMV.
Pro tip: use one of those tiny USB drives that doesn't stick out too far (but be careful bc these are easier to lose).
Pro tip 2: you can plut CloneZilla iso in the boot folder, then you can boot into that when you need to backup/restore images.
